Hiya ta Everyone!
The drum started poundin, the theorbo started that deep twang, feet hit the grass, and the PARTY started!
We had so much fun at the February OAKS ..thanks ta all my VERY sweet Neighbours!
TraViaTum proved once agin just how GREAT 0f a band ya be.
Honestly it was a tree-mendous concert …thanks agin ta my Sweet Neighbours.
A double thank you ..cause not only did TraViaTum play an awesum concert ..but also made those drawings that brings it all back fer a marvelous musical memory.
Fer all ya folks who laughed when I told ya that they could play “romantic” music …
just listen ta this …https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xio-R7GXUSU
Of course ~winks~ ya’ll have ta listen ta ’bout a couple hours of rockin music …
afore ya get ta that part ~giggles~
I know that a bunch of folks be movin ta find new homes soon …but fer them that ain’t in such a hurry ta leave ….the rest of this season the OAKS be stayin rite here in the Oldfurlong neighbourhood of Laurelin. All ya folks be welcome ta join us …all ya lyrics luvers …all who luv ta dance …all who luv ta listen ta great music
In other words …EVERYONE is welcome ta the Oldfurlong Amazin Koncert Series!
When the dust clears …~winks~ come on back ta Oldfurlong fer the March OAKS wit
the Rakes of Kilkarill
All of ya that think of rakes as just a garden tool that is a pole with a crossbar on one end toothed like a comb …maybee ya gots hit in the head one two many times when ya stepped on that comb-like end & the pole hit ya in the head. ~ouch~
There be other kinds of rakes …like in a far-off land beyond the Belly Gear Sea, folks see a rake as a lucky charm that is believed to attract good fortune …so ya culd be lucky after goin ta this March OAKS.
But these really remarkable Rakes be completely different kinds of rakes cause they be rakin in a good time fer all their audience wit their marvelous music and lyrics that will stir yer imagination & touch yer heart.
{{ the Rakes have two main talents, dear Star & the TALL One …one is beautiful, the other is mysterious … I’ll let ya guess which is which }}
warm happy hugs,
Acorne
